Dinner Auction


What is the dinner auction?

The dinner auction was started in 1994 and has raised over $1.5 million in support for technology and educational needs of the students of Seton-La Salle.   It is also the school’s largest fundraising event each year.


When is the dinner auction?

This year’s event, The Harlequin Ball, will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at The Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe.  The event starts, a 5:30 p.m., with a Mass that will be concelebrated by our alumni; Rev. Bonnar and Rev. Skitich.  The OPEN BAR and Silent and Chinese auction tables will open at 6:15 p.m.  Dinner and a Live auction follow with the i-Package raffle drawing (Two iPad 2).


What kinds of gifts will be available for bidding?

A selection of splendid items and services, including …. Vacation trips, college scholarships, once in a lifetime experiences, jewelry, certificates for dinner, spas, hair salons etc., electronics, wine and spirits, sporting goods and memorabilia, items for the home, and much, much, much more!!

Who attends and how much are reservations?

Hundreds of Elizabeth Seton, South Hills Catholic, Seton-La Salle, alumni, parents and friends will attend.  The $115* per person reservation/ $1,000 for a table 10, fee includes; an open bar, dinner, coffee/cappuccino dessert bar and more. (*reservations made before October 5th are $100 per person)


Where do the auction items come from?

Our generous alumni, parents, school vendor and friends who believe in catholic education, donate most of the gifts.  Donations are tax-deductible. Every gift donor is listed in the event program.


Ways to help make this event become a success….

Donate a gift, purchase a business ad, become an underwriting sponsor, come to the event, encourage others to join you.  Purchase tickets for the i-package raffle, tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25.  You can always become a volunteer and help with the planning and setup of the event or work the event as a volunteer.
